Jacque Reid goes Inside Her Story with Ashlee Hawn, from Big Rich Atlanta and the creator of RedCycle, a tampon club for women. The tampon tax is still on the books in 40 states and this organization helps women get tax free tampons.
“I couldn’t believe we were actually paying a tax on our tampons. Instead of going against Procter and Gamble and Johnson & Johnson I decided to create my own Tampon so that it would be tax free,” Hawn said.

I got to see him in Oakland. He did two shows that sold out in 10 minutes. I got tickets to both shows and flew out to California.”

“I was in high school when Barbershop 1 came out so I never imagined that this opportunity would come about. It started out with a conversations with Kenya. We both have the same manager and were both interested in writing it…we pitched our idea to the studio and they liked ours the most. I still can’t even believe it, going to a theater and seeing my name in the credits,” Oliver said.

Speaking to author Freda Mays about her upcoming book "My Naked Truth About Breast Cancer and Being Single" was very uplifting. Although she is battling a terminal illness, she remains in good spirits.
I really enjoyed speaking with Dr. Yamma Brown (James Brown's Daughter). Some of the topics discussed were her new book, the new James Brown biopic in theaters and her life growing up and her current endeavors.
This segment was with Brown Girl Publishing about how difficult it can be to get published as an African-American woman. Another topic discussed was how author Zane has been writing risqué novel before the "Fifty Shades of Grey" books were published and how they didn't receive the same amount of hype in mainstream.
I handled the ins and outs for this interview regarding Ray Rice’s NFL punishment along with Stephen A. Smith’s commentary on violence against women. We reached out to Mr. Tony Porter again from A Call to Men for his take on both situations.
It was very inspiring to talk to Danae Mines, the first fire-woman to grace the 2015 FDNY Calendar of Heroes. She talked about how she didn't want to be another woman half-naked in a bathing suit, but chose to wear her uniform.
I really enjoyed speaking with with Apryl Brown, a quadruple amputee after receiving illegal butt injections. It was a great interview because she was so inspiring as she talked about how she chose to not let her amputation stop her from living her life.
I reached out to speak with Tony Porter and Ted Bunch, founders of A Call to Men, about domestic violence. The men are known for their outreach across the nation catering to men.
